Description
Title MENA Telecom Churn – Causal Factors, Mitigation Measures, Digitization, and Announced Rates
Description Churn is a key performance indicator for telecom operators, as subscriber losses can affect recurring revenues, customer-acquisition costs, and overall market position. Telecom operators must therefore identify the factors contributing to churn and adopt effective measures to retain their subscribers. In this report, Arab Advisors Group examines publicly available churn-related disclosures from 64 telecom operators and groups across 19 countries in the MENA region. The report, “MENA Telecom Churn – Causal Factors, Mitigation Measures, Digitization, and Announced Rates,” which was released in September 2026, addresses the following questions: Which factors did telecom operators and groups announce as contributing to subscriber churn? What measures did telecom operators and groups announce to mitigate churn? What role did digitization play in their churn-reduction strategies? Which telecom operators and groups publicized cellular and fixed churn rates? What reductions in churn did telecom operators announce across different customer segments? To what extent did the telecom operators and groups under study publicly disclose churn-related information?
